Illamasqua

Illamasqua

For this day we had the people from illamasqua come in and give us a tutorial about there company and products.
They also gave a makeup demo i found this demo very helpful, it showed me new techniques and applications.
they also gave us a competition to do, we had to think of an story line, character, makeup look and try and sell the look as if your were selling it to a director of a film.
the two winning groups had to put their names in a hat and one person from each group got to be one of their assistance for the day working at illamasqua.

This is a picture of the makeup demo illamasqua done for us.

This is my groups idea, it was a pixie in an enchanted forest turning it into winter.

I could do her whole face as she previously hurt her eye.
I need to work on blending sharp lines for example on her nose i have missed a few brush strokes made.
With this piece i used both products and i used the blending brush, foundation brush and a angle brush.

I didn't manage to finish this as i ran out of time and we had to swap over.
I need to work on the symmetry and timing for this piece.

Elizabethan eyebrow blocking

Eye Brow blocking

This is my first attempt at blocking out eyebrows, what you had to do was use either soap or glue stick and with your angle brush apply the soap or glue back and forwards through the eye brows, then smoothing them down with your finger.
You then need to use a skin base all over the face and over the eyebrows then powder generously.
